I tried doing this and it only worked for about a week and then re-fried itself so in my opinion its a quick fix but not really long lasting, well for me anyways

I bought one for ten pound and did the towel trick and its been working since..ha ha not to mention the fella i got it off was guttered when he saw it working ha ha .... not a mega fix but it worked for me...also good tut that has theres millions of so-called fixes out there and also rip off sites claiming this un that.... :)

The Towel trick is just a temporary fix... lets you play a few hours then you have to do it again.
Doing this and the penny trick you wouldn't have to take it apart again...

nice tut.. work perfectly for 5 min after that i have little bit green on the screen so i restart the xbox and nothing on the tv? just blank i try i like 10 time and just blank.. HELP Plz?

ok my friend give my a xbox with rrod but i fix it like after 20 min of 2 ring i restart and recoming back with rrod
i try like 10 time put more past did work help?:(
