This is copied and pasted from se7ensins, no need to tell me I just noticed that this tut isn't on this site and sharing is nice 


1. First you need to get the error and prestige saves extracted from the zip archive

2. Extract your Modern Warfare 2 MP Save folder from your HDD

3a. Make 3 copies of this folder, place them in seperate folders (Name them 1, 2, and 3)
3b. (3 is just a Backup )
4. Open the MP save in folder 1 in Modio

5. Once the file is opened click the 'File Contents' tab at the top right of the Window

6a. Right click the only file that is on the list below (Begins with mpdata)
6b. Click Overwrite file, then navigate to where you placed the 10th Prestige folder
6c. Click the Folder 'Error' and double click the mpdata save within that folder
6d. Click back to the 'General File Info' tab next to the 'File Contents' tab
6e. Click Rehash and Resign

7. Open the mpdata save in folder 2

8. Repeat Steps 5-6 Only selecting the mpdata file within the folder named 'Prestige'

9. Extract your profile (The Proifle you want to Hack the Leaderboards with)

10a. Rename another profile folder on your HDD after your profile you just extracted
10b. If your HDD does not let you do this, don't worry about it

11a. Delete the profile file thats in the folder you just (may or may not have) renamed
11b. THIS IS NOT THE PROFILE YOU ARE MODDING, JUST A RANDOM PROFILE ON YOUR HDD

12a. Place the copy of the profile you just extracted into the folder in the old profiles place
12b. It is ok if the profile name does not match the profile folders name
12c. At this point you should have the profile in its original folder, and in another on your HDD

13. Now insert the mpdata from folder 1 into the original destination folder of your profile on your HDD, (NOT THE ONE YOU JUST RENAMED AND DELETED)

14. Insert the mpdata from folder 2 into the profile folder on your HDD where you deleted the original profile, and may or may not have renamed the destination folder)

15. You are now done with the PC part of the tutorial for this Part

16. Turn on your 360 and sign into Xbox Live with the Profile you want to Mod the XP/Stats on

17. Go to Multiplayer in Modern Warfare 2

18. Click Xbox Live, and wait for your stats to load

19. Back out to the Multiplayer Menu

20a. Go into spllitscreen, keep hitting A until you are in the splitscreen lobby
20b. an Error will come up twice, simply keep hitting 'A' to bypass it
20c. No 2nd player is needed, only the one profile you'd like to Mod

21. Once in the Splitscreen lobby, click Barracks, then Prestige, and go through the walls of text to prestige

22. Once done prestiging you will notice there is no icon for a prestige next to your name

23a. Back out into the Multiplayer menu, then proceed back into an Xbox Live lobby
23b. You will see that your Level is a 1 with no Prestige symbol, if it is, then you have done this correctly so far

24a. Proceed to find a game in any playlist
25a. Get a kill
25c. Quit the game back to the lobby

26. Now click barracks, leaderboards, and check your score, kills, ect, it will all be altered to the values set on the mpdata file withint he error folder
26a. If they have not yet changed, you must complete one online game to the end

27. You MUST get to at least a rank high enough to unlock custom classes
