Hacking via cookies
« on: April 05, 2010, 06:54:00 PM »
Ok, so I want to use cookies to hack into a friend's email account so that I can freak em out a little (this is purely for a joke and I do not plan on changing his password). I do have his cookie from the last time he go onto his email account from my computer and he used Google chrome and my OS is W&.

My question(s) is 1)can it be done and 2)how can it be done?

Answer is

1) Don't know.
2) Not having someone going about hacking emails.

Pure and simply, this is the most pathetic post ever.

Wow, I feel extremely insulted.
I understand that you are a moderator on this site but that still does not give you the right to say that my posts are stupid. This is what ultimately destroys a community and keeps people from joining. Yeah, it may be one post but what about the ones that you may do in the future?

Remember, you represent this community and your kind of suppose to be setting an example here. Attract newcomers by showing that it is ok to post pathetic pots (unless it is something like What is my name or something like that). Keep in mind, you or me most likely will not join a community if their moderators are telling their members that their posts are pathetic

Well most cookies don't state their passwords, and even if they do it's probably a encrypted cookie. Go through it if it's not plain text you're not going to get anywhere with it.

Read the rules.

You need a cookie stealer then when you get their cookie you replace yours with it and you should be logged into his account.

Something along those lines.
