Xbox 360 Modding Cooling System
« on: August 03, 2009, 07:40:35 AM »
Hey Everyone On MyXboxSaves.Com

Just wanted some advise i brought my xbox November 2008
And as you know every new Xbox360's get 3 Years Warrenty to get fixed
from the RRROD I put 3 R's because i like to call it Retarded Red Ring Of Death ;)

And im trying to find someone close to me in the UK to Mod my xbox with a cooling system so i have a chance of not geting the RRROD at all.

So tell me what i should do...

Wait till the Warrenty is up and take my chance's with the RRROD

Or just go out and try and find a pro to Mod it with a cooling system with fans in ect..

If you dont know what a Cooling System is then your a idiot :P Dare i say

Basicly its Opening it all up and cuting out a whole in the metal caseing for more areas for the heat to escape, So they will put in more fans ect.. make it look alot better at the same time maybe with some Neons ect.. Clear caseing :P

You should wait for the warranty to expire for 2 reasons

1) If 360 gets RROD, then you get 1 month free of XBL!!!!!!! (All you have to do is wait x amount of weeks and you have to send your 360 to MS)

2) If you are impatient, then all you have to do is buy another 360 (if elite then buy elite and if not elite, then don't buy elite) switch the old 360 with the new 360, wait about a day, then return the old 360 to the place you bought the new 360 from. Now, you have a brand new, shiny Xbox 360 that you got for free. Oh and if you bought the new 360 with HDD, make sure you don't return the old HDD to the seller.
